We are Jordan and Kirsten O’Coin-a husband/wife team who have a passion for developing beautiful and functionally unique homes. We combine personal and professional knowledge into a unique perspective on what it means to build a house. Our focus is to create homes with inspired design and attention to efficiency and function.

Our journey started over 10 years ago by renovating and flipping three homes. We quickly learned how much we enjoyed working together and decided to turn our side job into a family owned business. After living in the Hamilton area for years, we moved back to our hometown, Orillia, ON, and built a beautiful 2-storey modern house. Throughout the process, we worked seamlessly together and recognized that not only did we enjoy the designing and building process but that we wanted to bringing the same joy to other people’s lives by turning their home dreams into reality. Hence, 5th & Seven was born - a combination of our birth months.

With over 6 years of experience working for large builders as a Site Supervisor, managing sites and trades with over 400 homes, Jordan has extensive knowledge in the industry. Our family owned company has grown immensely over the past few years and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has chosen 5TH&7 for their construction needs. As a Tarion warranty certified builder, quality and communication are our top priorities.
